My boys came home with medals this week! On Tuesday, Anthony came home with a Certificate of Participation and a medal; The 5th and 6th grade students in his school participated in an intra-mural basketball tournament to commemorate "March Madness". His team won the tournament and therefore received medals. Great job Anthony!
And yesterday, Nicholas participated in the "Adidas Meet of Champions", an invitational competition for long distance runners, at Asuza Pacific University. He ran the 3200m in 11:09 min., a personal best. He also finished 10th in his heat of 30 runners, earning his first medal for running! Allan and I are very proud of him and hope that he continues to improve and enjoy this new sport!
